97406029 Obamas Last Chance For Health Care BIll

President Barack Obama spoke to Congress today, urging them to pass his Health Care Bill after another round of edits was done, bringing more Republican ideals into the bill.

“Now is the time to make a decision about how to finally reform healthcare so that it works,” the President continued, “Not just for the insurance companies, but for America’s families and businesses.”

The latest round of overhauls done to the bill was supposed to appease Republican objectors, however it may not.  The President hopes that this latest draft will bring Congress together with the hopes of finally passing his Health Care Reform Bill:

…An approach that has been debated and changed and I believe improved over the last year. It incorporates the best ideas from Democrats and Republicans.

The bill came close to passing late last year, but with he inception of a Republican Senator in Massachusetts, the Republicans gained the ability to halt Congress from passing the bill.
