[lastfm]Phil Collins[/lastfm] announced his retirement (at least from drumming), 2 years ago today.

Monday’s Rock’n’Roll Birthday list (April 26th) is impressive…and ALL are still “alive and kickin’’…..

Celebrating their special days tomorrow are such pioneer rockers as: [lastfm]Bobby Rydell[/lastfm] (biggest hit was “Wild One”), Maurice Williams of “Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs” (a #1 hit in 1960, “Stay”), one of the more famous rock ‘n’ roll guitarists, [lastfm]Duane Eddy[/lastfm] (“Because They’re Young,” “Rebel Rouser,” and “Forty Miles of Bad Road” are his three biggest hits, in order), but wait, there’s more…[lastfm]Claudine Clark[/lastfm]. (sang the hit “Party Lights” in the summer of 1962), and we’re not done yet! Another rock guitarist, [lastfm]Jorgen Ingmann[/lastfm] (“Apache”) celebrates on the 26th, BUT there’s STILL more…[lastfm]Gary Wright[/lastfm] (“Love Is Alive,” “Dream Weaver” and “Really Want To Know You) rounds out the LONG list of ROCK ‘N’ BIRTHDAYS on Monday, April 26th…

If you’re reading this for the first time on Monday, which may/could be/perhaps is today…we hope you have a great week and that you started/are starting your morning off with Gary Bryan and the Morning Show 5-10am!
