Celebrity Pairings Announced For New Season Of ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Our favorite Brady Bunch mom, Florence Henderson, is just one of the many celebrities that have signed for the 11th season of ABC’s hit reality competition Dancing With the Stars. The dancing competition will pin 12 stars up against each other in dazzling dance arrangements with their professional partners until one pair is crowned dance champion!

It’s an eclectic mix of celebrities, musicians and athletes joining the ranks of the 11th season of DWTS. ABC announced the set teams of celebrities with their trainers, who will transform the untrained celebs into limber dancers in choreographed numbers week after week.

“What I really like about this season is that, on the first night, when you go down the line, every celebrity and pair, it’s a horse race,” Senior producer and casting director Deena Katz said. “I don’t audition these people, so I don’t know how well they dance. But I can say in the past, we’ve had people who had too much dance experience, so I was really trying to get back to the core of what the show is about — people out of their element learning how to dance.”

And the matchups are…drumroll pleeeease:

[lastfm]Michael Bolton[/lastfm] and Chelsie Hightower

[lastfm]Brandy[/lastfm] and Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough

David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson

Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas

Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani

Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Karina Smirnoff

  • What are your thoughts on the new season DWTS lineup? Will “The Situation” fist pump his way to the top for this season?
