Quincy Jones Talks About Who Is To Blame for Jackson’s Death

While [lastfm]Quincy Jones[/lastfm] was a longtime friend of [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm], the legendary music producer—who worked on Thriller, Bad and Off the Wall—isn’t pointing any fingers as to the unfortunate death of the music icon in 2009.

When recently asked if he knew Jackson was sick before he died, Jones said:

No. There was no way to know. There’s no way anybody could be blamed for what happened. ‘Artists of that stature ‘ they can do whatever they want. You’d have to monitor him 24/7 to know what’s going on.

Do you agree with what [lastfm]Quincy Jones[/lastfm] had to say, or do you think Jackson‘s “stature” has no impact on the relationship he had with his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, who was acquitted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s case?
