1968 – [lastfm]Jimi Hendrix[/lastfm]’s Experience appeared at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland during his North America Tour.

1980 – [lastfm]Jackson Browne[/lastfm]’s album Hold Out hit number one, his only album to do so in the U.S.

1986 – The group [lastfm]Berlin[/lastfm]’s song “Take My Breath Away” was the number one single.

2003 – [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm] held a $5,000 a ticket charity party at his Neverland ranch in Santa Ynes for 500 guests.
