Booking any concert, even for charity, is a difficult task. To get artists to clear time in their schedules, often for free (it is for charity, after all) is quite a juggling act. But we suspect it gets easier when the show bears the name of [lastfm]John Lennon[/lastfm] and benefits the Playing For Change Foundation, especially looking at this year’s lineup!

Theatre Within’s [lastfm]John Lennon[/lastfm] Tribute is in its 30th year in 2010, and the New York City affair, scheduled for November 12th, might be featuring its best lineup ever. How about…

  • [lastfm]Jackson Browne[/lastfm]
  • [lastfm]Patti Smith[/lastfm]
  • [lastfm]Cyndi Lauper[/lastfm]
  • [lastfm]Aimee Mann[/lastfm]
  • [lastfm]Keb’ Mo'[/lastfm]
  • [lastfm]Joan Osbourne[/lastfm]

…just to name a few!
