In 1964, [lastfm]The Beach Boys[/lastfm] performed “I Get Around” and “Wendy” on their debut on The Ed Sullivan Show.  Three years later, [lastfm]The Beatles[/lastfm] recorded parts of John Lennon’s  “I Am The Walrus” and Paul McCartney’s “Fool On The Hill.”

1975 – [lastfm]John Denver[/lastfm]’s “I’m Sorry” was the number one song on the music charts.

1986 – “Twist and Shout” by [lastfm]The Beatles[/lastfm] resurfaced on the music charts 25 years after it made its debut thanks to its appearance in the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

1990 – [lastfm]Marvin Gaye[/lastfm] received his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
