In case the little pink ribbons displayed just about everywhere wasn’t a dead giveaway, October is National Breat Cancer Awareness Month, and everyone is “thinking pink” in order to raise awareness of this deadly disease and help find a cure.

Even players and coaches in the NFL are joining in on the cause by sporting pink athletic gear during their games, but is the motivation behind their support to create awareness or is it mearly just to boost ratings?

You’ve seen the glimmers of pink accents flashing across your television screen during the Sunday game, but you have to wonder, is the NFL’s participation in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to supprot the cause, or is a just  gimmick to promote the teams?

I think pink each and every Oct. thanks to years of great years of mass media advertisements.. My brain is probably been brainwashed by now to gear up for support Breast Cancer awareness. Sadly, our family has lost too many special friends to breast cancer..
I still love my Autumn colors but always think pink to help support the message of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Different cancers have their own particular color for awareness. They should work their way through the spectrum.
