The Tickets @ Two song is “Cruisin’ by [lastfm]Smokey Robinson[/lastfm], one of his most successful singles outside of his work with [lastfm]The Miracles[/lastfm]. “Cruisin'” was a Top 10 Billboard Pop hit, peaking at number four, but was even a bigger hit in New Zealand, reaching number 1 on that country’s chart.

[lastfm]Gwyneth Paltrow[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Huey Lewis[/lastfm] performed a cover of the song in the 2000 film Duets. The song is included on the soundtrack of the film, and their version spent one week at number one on the music chart.

Smokey Robinson is an avid golfer who I see at my local course Simi Hills hitting range balls.  He also gets a lot of rounds in at Knollwood golf course at the top of Balboa in Granada Hills.

Smokey served as Vice President of Motown Records from 1961 to 1988.

If your caller 14 you’ll be ourTickets @ Two winner this afternoon between two and three when “Cruisin'” plays on the radio. 1-(800) 232-KRTH.
