Later With Jools Holland is everything one could want from a music television show: Great performances from wonderful artists with an energetic host. Of course, we don’t get the BBC here. But thanks to the beauty that is YouTube, we can check out Sir [lastfm]Paul McCartney[/lastfm]’s latest appearance, which features an interview and a couple of Band On The Run-era standout tracks!

McCartney talked about the origins of the [lastfm]Wings[/lastfm] album Band On The Run, along with performing “Let Me Roll It” and “Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five” last week on Later…

The set list was likely inspired by the re-release of a remastered Band On The Run, which hits stores tomorrow.

When Sir Paul goes on shows like this, would you rather hear [lastfm]Beatles[/lastfm], [lastfm]Wings[/lastfm] or McCartney’s solo work?
