A new [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm] single is out today.  A duet recorded by Jackson and rapper-producer Akon is titled “Hold My Hand,” the song was recorded two years before Jackson’s death in 2009.

Check it out!!

It was prematurely leaked on the Internet in 2008 in what was described as an “unfinished state.”  But [lastfm]Akon[/lastfm] says the song is now complete and he’s ready to share his collaboration with his music idol with the world.

The producer called the track “an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song,” adding, quote, “I’m so proud to have had the chance to work with Michael, one of my all-time idols.”  “Hold My Hand” will be featured on the upcoming album Michael, the first posthumous album of new material featuring the late pop superstar.

not that good. seems like something that would be left out of the album if he were still here to record something else.

Well the big ? is did Akon help or hurt the Michael Jackson HOLD MY HAND song with his “finishing touches”. Listen below to the 2008 version back to back with the 2010 version. It makes for an “interesting” comparison to say the least

  3. Mike D. says:
