Starting this Wednesday, big celebrities are signing off from their Twitter and Facebook profiles all in the name of charity. As part of Alicia Key’s charity Keep a Child Alive, celebs are taking part in the Digital Life Sacrifice to raise money for families in India and Africa affected by HIV/AIDS, and they won’t be signing back on until they raise $1 million.

Kim Kardashian is among the celebs committing “digital death” for a good cause, but will this help motivate people to donate or will the “Twitterverse” be happy to get rid of these celebs and their updates?

Celebrities partaking the “digital deaths” along with the Kardashians include Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Usher and much more. They’ll go silent on the online world until they raise $1 million for the charity and will be recording their “last tweets and testaments” videos lying in coffins to represent their digital deaths.

But do you think having these celebs off Twitter and Facebook will encourage people to donate or not to donate in order to keep them off?

Who would win in a fight between Cloris Leachman vs. Betty White?! Well, in a recent interview, Leachman attacked Betty White for being the new “it” girl saying, “I’m so sick of Betty White. Never liked her, when’s she going away?” Them are fighting words, and Betty responded with a low blow herself saying, “Oh, is Cloris still conscious?”

I’m taking Cloris in this fight…who do you think will win the war of words?

Actor Jeremy Renner (Hurt Locker) has revealed that he is taking over the famous Tom Cruise role as Ethan Hunt in the Mission Impossible franchise. Renner is featured in the upcoming Mission Impossible 4 as his younger protegé, but will take over the lead role in later films.

The studio is dropping Cruise because he’s less of a bankable star, but does Renner has what it takes to replace Cruise as Ethan Hunt?
