We have a very special guest joining us on this week’s episode of The Beatle Years! Guitarist Joey Molland from Badfinger will talk about the band’s experience and career being signed on the Beatles’ record label Apple Records. Don’t miss out on his first-hand recount of close relationship the band had with the Beatles!

As the first band signed to the Beatles’ Apple Records, Badfinger was quickly dubbed as sounding like the next Beatles, partly because of their close working relationship. Paul McCartney even wrote their first single “Come and Get It.”

Our guest this week, Badfinger guitarist, Joey Molland will talk about what it was like being signed to the Beatles’ record label, plus you’ll hear rare clips and classic hits from the Beatles!

Tune in to The Beatle Years this Sunday at 9 am hosted by me, immediately following Jim Carson’s Back to the Beatles special at 8 am!

I’d like to let you know that I always try to wake up early every Sunday morning to not miss any Beatles show, because I love how you talk about them and play their music and that makes me feel good knowing that The Beatles will never be forgotten, don’t you think? Though I’m a young woman, I still love The Beatles for how handsome, talented, and musical they were. My favorite Beatles song is….In My Life….so rhythmic and full of memories. Well, it’s been a pleasure listening to your great show every Sunday morning and sharing it with my family! Keep up the good work and please play The Beatles forever. Thank you and All You Need Is Love~~~
