Today on ‘Tickets @ 2’ it’s a #1 hit from [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Simon & Garfunkel[/lastfm], with a song that was written for the movie The Graduate, starring Anne Bancroft as Mrs. Robinson, a middle age woman who seduces the much younger Dustin Hoffman.

This would have had a good chance to win an Oscar for Best Song From A Movie, but it was never nominated because Simon & Garfunkel never filled out the forms to get it considered, leaving “Talk To The Animals” from Doctor Dolittle as the winner. Paul Simon explained, “It was the 60’s, we just weren’t paying attention.”

I hope you pay attention between two and three when we play it, be caller # 11 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) and you’ll win those coveted K-EARTH, WIND, & FIRE concert tickets.  Good luck!
