kinks Seven Early Kinks Albums To Be Re Released

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Kinks[/lastfm] have announced their intent to re-release the band’s earliest albums as expanded double CDs.

Gibson reports the CDs will start hitting shelves on March 28, 2011. Included in the March re-releases are The Kinks (1964), Kinda Kinks (1965) and The Kink Kontroversy (1965.)

Then in May Kinks fans can pick up Arthur (1969) and Muswell Hillbillies (1971.) July will bring  Face to Face (1966) and Something Else (1967.) All of the re-releases will likely feature rarities, outtakes, session tracks and expanded liner notes.
