Today's Tickets @ 2 Song: "Please Come Home For Christmas" by Eagles

[lastfm]Duran Duran[/lastfm] took the stage at Stubb’s on opening night of the annual South By Southwest Music Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas, as part of their world tour. What followed was a set that proved how confident and relevant the band behind “Girls On Film” remains after 30 years in the music industry.

[lastfm]Duran Duran[/lastfm] played a set that saw oldies like “Notorious” and “Hungry Like The Wolf” follow new material, such as “Being Followed” and “All You Need Is Now” (co-written by [lastfm]Mark Ronson[/lastfm]), with great audience reaction. Fans sang along to the hits, but everyone was dancing just as hard when [lastfm]Simon Le Bon[/lastfm] announced a new tune. Our friends over at Spinner were lucky enough to catch the gig, read their full review here.

Remember Duran, Duran very well and enjoy their music (still have a few of their singles from the 80’s). Duran Duran rocks!
