Gone but not forgotten former guitarist for the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beatles[/lastfm], George Harrison is getting immortalized in a new book that reveals an intimate look into his life. The book Living In The Material World: George Harrison will be an illustrated history of his life with rare photos, personal diary entries and letters written by the Beatle that have never been seen before.

Harrison’s widow, Olivia, has released dozens of personal documents, photos, interviews and more of George that have never been seen by fans before for the new book, which has a coinciding release date with blockbuster director Martin Scorsese‘s music documentary of the same name.

The book will also include a foreword written by Scorsese about Harrison’s early years, his massive career with the Beatles and his transformation into an equally massive solo artist after the Beatles.

The book and the movie are a joint project that gives an intimate glimpse inside the former Beatle’s life as it’s never been seen before. The book and Scorsese’s much-anticipated documentary is scheduled for release this autumn.

A book on George Harrison, interesting right Fiona? I know you and I love John Lennon and I’ve seen a couple of them since I left you to make my way to L.A. to pursue my RainbowRay and Eric’s Mirror dreams for US. Nice song though by Harrison, right Fiona? Fiona? Oh how I miss you girl!
