Having just completed his intensive four-month investigation on government employees taking advantage of company vehicles for their own personal use, David uncovered the truth about this misuse of government property that’s costing the taxpayer money.

“Their supposed to be using these cars of course for city business, to travel to a meeting. We found them doing a number of other things — taking them home when they’re not supposed to, using them basically as their own rental car,” said David. “We found someone in the mayor’s office using this car — she was keeping it for days, weeks, months at a time…taxpayers are paying for it.”

The full story of the investigation will broadcast during Thursday night’s CBS 2 News at 11 p.m., and you’ll see how these employees are misusing government vehicles and their reactions of being caught on camera during David’s exclusive report tonight.
