Back in May, we told you about Paul McCartney popping the question to his girlfriend Nancy Shevell.  Now we’re hearing some details of their wedding to be, which is much different from McCartney’s last wedding which included an incredible fireworks display.

This being his third wedding, McCartney is opting for a small one with only close family to be invited.  A friend of McCartney told The Daily Telegraph in the UK he “loves Nancy very much, but doesn’t want a big wedding.”

After the wedding, the newlyweds will be flying to New York to celebrate with the bride’s family.

In 2002, Sir Paul married former model Heather Mills, which ended in a pretty messy divorce and her receiving millions of dollars in the settlement.

Let’s hope the third time’s a charm!

  1. RainbowRay says:

When Fiona and I get married one day, I would like to have a big wedding to celebrate (will found out what kind of wedding she would like to have of course) in order to make up for all the suffering, struggling and sacrifices made throughout the years (and now FOR LOVE and Fiona of course). Oh, around 50,000 people would be nice or is that to big? What do you think everyone? (ha! ha! kidding). I wonder if we would have enough paper plates (ha!) What do you think Fiona darling?

Maybe 30, 000 would be enough people for a wedding, right guys? Right Fiona honey? (kidding again!). Anyone want to come?
