The Cowsills’ family band enjoyed a successful ride in the ’60s and ’70s with many charting hits including their well-known single “Hair” and continue to delight fans everywhere with performances. Their entire rise to fame is chronicled  in their new documentary Family Band: The Cowsills Story, which follows the family’s four-decade musical journey.

“We were reluctant to even get the story out there, but now we’re really happy it is out there,” Paul said. “People thought of us as this family band, goody two shoes kinda thing, and no family is like that. ”

The documentary reveals many untold stories and behind the scenes moments from being the influence for The Partridge Family (and actually supposed to be the TV band) and the tumultuous relationship with their dad.

After the screening, the entire creative team and band will stick around for a meet and greet, performance and even some graham crackers and orange juice with fans. Check out the screening of the untold story of the Cowsills tonight, Thursday, July 21st at the Paley Center For Media in Beverly Hills starting at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $15 for members and $20 for general public, click here for more information!
