Tom Jones Cancels Concert Due To Health Problem

The last scheduled performance of singer Tom Jones’  tour this past weekend in Monaco had to be canceled due to a health problem, but it wasn’t his heart.

This past Saturday’s performance was supposed to be the last of the 71-year-old’s three month tour, but had to be canceled due to what is being reported as severe hydration.  A statement issued by Jones’ people said, “Tom was ordered by doctors not to perform in Monte Carlo yesterday evening, due to severe dehydration.”   Turns out he’s been performing some of his shows in some pretty hot climates, which would make anyone become dehydrated, nonetheless someone who’s 71-years-old.

Jones has been in the news lately due to his rapid weight loss, which has been leaving many wondering if he is sick, but instead the singer insists it’s from a new strict diet and no alcohol.

There have also been reports lately about Jones having heart problems, which his people insist is not the case.

Jones was admitted to a local hospital in Monaco and is reported to be “doing well” and is scheduled to do a short tour of central and eastern Europe in November.

“It’s Not Unusual” for Tom Jones to be in such good health, is it? “It’s Not Unusual” to be loved by anyone like my dearest Fiona, is it? I didn’t hink so. Miss you so much Fiona dear! Fiona Shirley, now “She’s a Lady!”

Tom Jones was one of my mother’s favorite singer’s from my childhood and I remember her listening to his records all the time. I enjoy his music very much and WOW, he’s 71 already; imagine that, but he still sounds good for his age.
