Now on the ten year anniversary of his death on Tuesday, Nov. 29th, fans in the Los Angeles area are making sure the voice of the “Quiet Beatle” is still being heard by holding a special candlelight memorial at his Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Fans are welcome to commemorate the spectacular life and career of former Beatle guitarist George Harrison on the 10th anniversary of his death this evening.

A candlelight memorial will take place at his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame located at 1750 N. Vine Street, in front of Capitol Records Tower Building.

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the public is invited to bring flowers and candles to create a memorial on his star, as well as share their music and poetry remembering the musician who sadly passed away on this day in 2001 after a long battle with cancer.

Remember George Harrison with one of his biggest solo #1 hits, “My Sweet Lord/Isn’t It A Pity.”
