Today’s rainy day ‘Tickets @ 2’ song is “Little Town” by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Cliff Richard[/lastfm].

Born Harry Rodger Webb, he became a musician, pop singer, and actor, who has sold over an estimated 250 million records worldwide. With his backup group The Shadows, he was a rebellious rock & roll singer in the style of Little Richard and Elvis Presley, dominating the British charts until the Beatles came along. He’s a fixture of the British entertainment world.

When we play the song between two & three we’ll take caller # 8 at 1-800-232-KRTH to win a pair of tickets to the 49th Annual Cruise Of Lights spectacular holiday ‘Light Show’ at the sparkling waters of Huntington Harbour.

Listened to Cliff Richard alot growing up the late 70’s and early 80’s and I can’t for the life of me ever remember hearing this version of O Little Town of Bethlehem. I must say, I do like it because it’s “unique and “different” from the original; something new for a change. Great version!
