After keeping the title of his first new album in years hush-hush, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] finally revealed the ‘cheeky’ name for his new cover album as Kisses On The Bottom!

The title was confirmed by McCartney’s reps after reports that the LP title was leaked online, and Sir Paul has even released the first new track from the album called “My Valentine” featuring [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Eric Clapton[/lastfm]!

Kisses On The Bottom, which features a collection of classic American standards that Paul considers “songs which inspired the songs” he and John Lennon composed with The Beatles, is due out on Feb. 7th — just in time to get your sweetheart the perfect Valentine’s Day gift of new music from Macca!

And speaking of Valentine’s Day, Paul has release the first of two brand new tracks he’s written in addition to his tributes on the album. The song is a collaboration with Eric Clapton titled “My Valentine,” which you can listen in the audio below!

I miss MY VALENTINE (Fiona “Fee-Fi”) and am STILL DREAMING IN MIRACLES . We WILL be in MEMPHIS at Graceland for Valentine’s Day (that is my dream). Last year while she was with our friend, I was dedicating RAINBOWRAY’S TOP 10 LOVE SONGS to MY FIONA (as in My Sharona; I wrote a version for her using that song) and guess which song was the number one song that I dedicated to her on Facebook last Valentine’s day, you got it, “I CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE” (for obvious reasons),. Thus is the story of last Valentine’s Day. I DON’T BELIEVE in my heart it will be a repeat like a Christmas threepeat has been.

Sharing is caring and caring is sharing; living is giving (lord, give me my Fiona) and giving is living (I can’t live without her)

This is the reason the Beatles were great.
