Busy promoting his upcoming album Kisses On The Bottom, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] announced more exciting news on Thursday that he’s confirmed to perform at this year’s GRAMMY Awards!

In addition to being one of the confirmed performers for the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards, McCartney is also nominated for Best Historical Album for Band On The Run (Paul McCartney Archive Collection — Deluxe Edition) that, if he wins, would add to his previous 14 GRAMMY wins.

Other performers for this year’s GRAMMYs also include Coldplay, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, The Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and more. The 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be hosted by singer/actor LL Cool J — the show’s first host in seven years — and will air on Feb. 12th on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.

Thursday morning, McCartney also held a live webcast to talk about his new album, which you can watch the recorded video HERE.
