The summer concert season just heated up a little bit more with the announcement of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Aerosmith[/lastfm]’s  ‘Global Warming’ tour making its way across the country!

The whole gang is coming back together after touring last year in Latin America and Japan on the ‘Back On The Road Again’ tour, and according to frontman, Steven Tyler, they’re coming back with a vengeance!

“The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your a** and make out with yur mothers,” Steven Tyler says via Billboard. Joe Perry adds, “Can’t wait to bring this band back home. It feels like we’ve been away too long.”

The rockers are ready to roll on the summer tour stopping in major cities around the U.S., including a date in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl. The band is celebrating their 42nd year together and will hit the road with Cheap Trick as openers.

“After touring Japan and South America last year we’re psyched about bringing it all back for the hometown fans,” bassist Tom Hamilton says. “We’re going to break out the classics, the hits and maybe even some of the new ones we’ve been banging out in the studio. Can’t wait to get to Minneapolis!”

Should be some tour, right? Obviously my favorite Aerosmith song is “Dream On” and that’s just what I’m doing. RainbowRay also has a passion for “Global Warming” and like IS aid, “start ’em while their young, right?”
