Lindsey Buckingham Hitting the West Coast For Solo Tour

With Mick Fleetwood recently telling Playboy, “I don’t believe Fleetwood Mac will ever tour again,” fans may have to settle for solo shows from the band’s Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. According to Fleetwood, their respective solo careers have forced Fleetwood Mac to put tours on hold since 2010, with the ’70s rockers last playing together in 2009. Can you say, “Go Your Own Way”?

Adding fuel to the solo fire again is vocalist and guitarist Buckingham, who will hit the road for just-announced “one-man band”-style shows along the West Coast. The 15-date tour kicks off May 3rd with what may be the most intensive tour of Bay Area native Buckingham’s home state, with 11 California shows scheduled. But fear not, non-Pacific coasters: more Buckingham dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Buckingham released his sixth solo album, “Seeds We Sow,” back in September, and it peaked at No. 45 on the Billboard 200 chart. In an announcement for the tour, Buckingham wrote that in addition to tracks from “Seeds We Sow,” he’ll perform Fleetwood Mac classics on his own.

That’s to bad because “I would love to see then tour again as a group”. I remember most of their songs and albums and remember when they were touring, but never had the chance to see then perform. You “Can’t stop thinking about tomorrow” right? and “Dreams” do come true, right? to see Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and the rest of the group reunite for a reunion concert or tour of some sort would be AWESOME! Remember them from my school days!
