Kings Win Game 1 In Stanley Cup Finals — KNX’s Randy Kerdoon: ‘We Are Watching History Being Made’

The stakes were high in game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the LA Kings and the NJ Devils, but the Kings defeated the Devils with a 2-1 win thanks to a winning overtime goal scored by Anze Kopitar.

Our resident sports reporter from KNX 1070, Randy Kerdoon, joined us this morning to give his recap of the exciting game and make his predictions for the Stanley Cup Finals!

Randy weighs in on the game and reminds us that the Kings win on Wednesday is history in the making:

“Nine straight wins this year on the road, nobody’s done that in the playoffs, plus if you go back to last year, we’re talking 11 straight – hockey fans, we are watching history being made before us,” said Randy.
