Just having recently wrapped up shooting, the buzz around the next installment of the Iron Man franchise is already building, especially the weekend after Comic Con.

But that doesn’t mean the studio is revealing any details about the film. One of the stars appearing in Iron Man 3, actor Ashley Hamilton did his best at giving us a little sneak peek at what to expect for the next action blockbuster.

Marvel is keeping the secrets of the film pretty hush-hush, but Ashely can tell us that he is playing the villainous role of Jack Taggert, aka Firepower, in Iron Man 3.

“I can’t tell you much about it,” said Ashley. “I can tell you it is, in my opinion the best Iron Man you guys will see – not because I’m in it, but because the script is phenomenal, the cast is¬†phenomenal and it was magic.”

Ashley also tells us about his budding ‘bromance’ with the star of the film, Robert Downing Jr. calling him the “one of the most amazing, unbelievable, generous, giving, kindest human being I ever met in my life.”

He explains the with the help of his friend Robert Downing Jr., he got the audition for the part after appearing in a Cinemax feature and put in “so much time and so much work” into getting in with Marvel.

In addition to his role in the upcoming superhero blockbuster, Hamilton is also working on a documentary centering around his father, actor George Hamilton.

“He’s such a¬†phenomenal man, and he’s the last of the great MGM era where there was classic actors which we really don’t have anymore,” said Ashley.
