This weekend at the O.C. Fair is going to be a back-to-back rock and roll flashback with Earth, Wind & Fire performing on Saturday and Three Dog Night taking the stage on Sunday along with The Guess Who!

One of the leading singers, Cory Wells called in this morning to talk about playing some of rock’s biggest hits for all the fans this weekend.

So just how many hits from their 40+ career will you hear this Sunday? “As many as we can squeeze in,” said Cory.

“We try to rotate songs – hits at least…We know what the people want…we’re there to play for the people, we’re there to entertain them, we’re there to bring back memories for them,” he added.

Fans can expect Three Dog Night to play both the big hits, plus those deep tracks on the albums that never had a chance to make it on the charts.

Cory also explains the story behind one of the most memorable names in rock and roll history and how they settled on the name ‘Three Dog Night’ after a girlfriend of one of the members came up with the name!
