After a few weeks of rumors that British singing superstar Adele was pegged to record the new James Bond theme song for the next installment, Skyfall, the official word was confirmed on Monday.

Adele tweeted a simple photo of her hand on top of the Skyfall song composition Monday, and shortly after a clip of theĀ  theme was leaked online only to be taken down within hours.

But of course, the clip made its rounds before being removed, and we have a preview of it here! The song was recorded in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London and was co-written by her and producer Paul Epworth.

Adele also released a statement on her website announcing the track is complete and will debut at 0.07hrs BST (London time) on Friday 5th October or 7:07pm EST on October 4th in the U.S.

Listen to a preview of the track below and tell us what you think!
