Did You Know: “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” By The Supremes

This afternoon’s ‘Tickets @ 2′ hit is “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” by The Supremes.

Written by the songwriting team of Holland-Dozier-Holland, who were a big part of the Motown sound. They not only wrote hits for The Supremes, but The Four Tops and many other acts on the label.

This was the Supremes’ eighth #1 hit.

Lamont Dozier created the stuttering guitar line, inspired by the radio ‘News Flash’ sound effect.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller #5 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a four-pack of tickets to the 60th annual California RV Show at the Fairplex in Pomona.
