Today’s ‘Tickets @ 2’ song is from Michael Jackson’s album Thriller, it’s “Human Nature.”

“Human Nature” was originally written by Steve Porcaro, keyboardist with the band Toto. Steve said:”I had written a song for my daughter Heather. Something happened in school and it just inspired me. I wrote the song while mixing ‘Africa’ and was just tinkering on the piano and wrote ‘Human Nature.'”

Porcaro and fellow Toto member David Paich worked with producer Quincy Jones on the Thriller album, doing some synthesizer programming and playing. Quincy had been asking for David for songs, and the end of the exchange found “Human Nature” in the hands of Jones who was producing Thriller. It wound up a Top 10 hit for Micahel Jackson.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller # 11 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to Stevie Wonder’s 17th Annual House Full Of Toys at Nokia L.A. Live December 15th.
