Nine-year-old Sam Gordon is getting a lot of attention for her amazing skills on the football field. This young football star from Salt Lake City isn’t afraid of getting rough with the boys in her youth football league, in fact, she out-performs them every time.
According to USA Today, her father, Brent Gordon said that out of the 172 kids who tried out in Gremlin age group (mostly nine year olds) of the Ute Conference, Sam tested the fastest in every single speed and agility drill. She eventually became the starting quarterback for her team.
Her father, Brent Gorden, posted the video of her season highlights and writes in the description on YouTube, “Girl plays tackle football and is really fast. She scored 35 times and ran for 1,911 yards, averaging 8.2 yards per carry. This girl was fun to watch!”
If any indication from the 1,870,000 views of this video since its posting on Nov. 5th, this pint-sized player is one to watch out for. Her father must be so proud. Check out the amazing clip below!
