Here’s your ‘Tickets @ 2’ song of the day, it’s “Ain’t Nobody” by Rufus & Chaka Khan.

This was the last chart single for the group before lead singer Chaka Khan (born Yvette Stevens) left for a solo career.

Producer Quincy Jones wanted the song for Michael Jackson’s Thriller album, and almost got it. Rufus Keyboard player David Wolinski wrote it. The group didn’t like it but recorded it anyway. It did better on the European charts (#8) than it did on the American music Chart (#22).

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller # 8 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a 4-Pack of tickets to the Los Angeles Boat Show in two locations, the L.A. Convention Center, and Burton Chase Park in Marina Del Rey.
