Swamp Love! Lisa Stanley Interviews Bruce Mitchell Of ‘Swamp People’

Last year, Lisa Stanley had the chance to visit with one of stars of History’s hit series Swamp People in New York City. Lisa chatted with Bruce Mitchell at the Chelsea Market where they created a “swamp” with some of the reptilian creatures found on the show!

Pledge your allegiance to Swamp Nation! Swamp People is coming back to History this Thursday night at 9! It’s the perfect Valentine’s evening…spread the Swamp Love!

Swamp People is set in America’s largest swamp, the Atchafalaya Swamp, which is deep in the heart of southern Louisiana. It’s a uniquely American story about a proud and skillful people, the Cajuns, who are fighting to maintain an ancient way of life in a rapidly modernizing world, despite the many perils and trials that stand in their way. Many of the Cajuns are reliant on hunting and fishing the various animals that inhabit the swamp, including alligators, for their survival. Alligator hunting season lasts for only 30 days a year in September.
