KTLA’s Mark Kriski On ‘My Brother’s Keeper: Crossfit Workout Benefit’

After the week-long ordeal in the manhunt for ex-LAPD cop Christopher Dorner earlier this month that left two police officers dead, the community is coming together in a time of grief to help the families of those brave officers.

KTLA’s weatherman Mark Kriski called in this morning to tell us about a fantastic fundraiser happening on Saturday (3/2) to help raise money for the families of the victims in the manhunt for Dorner.

Kriski is participating in My Brother’s Keeper: Crossfit Workout Benefit that will donate all proceeds to the families of slain Officer Michael Crain and Deputy Jeremiah MacKay.

“There’s going to be a lot of police officers down there, there’s going to be firefighters and it’s just a whole lot of fun,” said Mark. “Let’s work out, it’s going to be a beautiful day, and donate some money for the families.”

The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, March 2nd at Trojan Crossfit (431 S. Hewitt Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013) and costs $20 to participate. Check in starts at 9 a.m. and the first heat kicks off at 10 with a new heat starting every 15 minutes.
