Cordell “Boogie” Mosson, bassist for Parliament-Funkadelic, passed away last week (April 18th) at the age of 60.

According to a post made to George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic’s Facebook page, donations are needed for funeral expenses.

It reads:

We are sorry to inform you that Mr. Cordell “Boogie” Mosson passed away on April 18, 2013

Thank you for considering donating to his Burial Fund. 100% of all monies raised will be used for the direct expenses related to his funeral.

This is an urgent request for FUNKATEERS worldwide to contribute $10, or whatever you can, the funeral is in a few days in Plainfield, N.J.
