Over the weekend, Sir Paul McCartney paid his respects to the one time King of Rock and Roll during his first ever visit to Elvis Presley’s Graceland home in Memphis, Tenn.

Before performing a show in Memphis on Sunday, McCartney, a life-long Elvis fan, took a private tour of the King’s Graceland home and left a one of a kind gift at his grave in his memory.

McCartney tweeted out a photo on his official account of himself placing one of his own guitar picks at Elvis’ memorial.

According to CBS News, the former Beatle also tweeted out “so Elvis can play in heaven,” though that tweet no longer appears on his account.

McCartney is currently on the North American leg of his “Out There” tour and made his first visit to Memphis in over two decades.
