Today’s ‘Tickets @ 2’ song is “Right Back Where We Started From” by Maxine Nightingale.

Maxine was born in Wembley England. This was her breakout song and it hit in a big way reaching # 2 on the music chart. She appeared in various stage musicals such as Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell before recording “Right Back Where We Started From.”

The meaning is to bring a relationship that’s begun to fail back together again. It was used extensively in the Hockey film Slap Shot with Paul Newman.

When we play it between two and three we’ll take caller #10 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Roger Daltrey at the O.C. Fairgrounds in a benefit concert for ‘Teen Cancer America’ Saturday, August 10th.
