Today's Tickets @ 2 Song: "(Christmas)Baby Please Come Home" by U2
By Britt Bickel

Imagine being stuck on board a plane for four hours with no food, no water and no A/C in 108 degree heat – how would you handle the situation?

This unfortunate situation became reality for passengers on board Allegiant Airlines flight 592 from Las Vegas to Phoenix this week, who decided instead of making a bad situation worse, to turn to music in a time of despair.

According to the Huffington Post, after having their flights delayed on two different aircrafts, passengers were stuck on the second plane in the dessert heat without A/C due to a mechanical issue on the plane. Luckily one passenger had portable speakers in their carry on and blasted R Kelly’s hit “I Believe I Can Fly” in light of the irony of being grounded on the hot Tarmac for hours.

The entire plane burst into song – laughing, joking and bonding with their fellow passengers – in order to pass time as they waited to be cleared for takeoff.

It just goes to show that the power of music can make any situation better! Watch the video below:
