This afternoon on ‘Tickets @ 2’ listen for “Just You ‘N’ Me” by Chicago. Written by James Pankow, with Peter Cetera singing lead vocals.

This was the second single released from Chicago VI (1973), it peaked at # 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The song was written after a fight with Pankow’s future wife Karen. The wedding invitations featured the lead sheet of the song with their picture embossed on it.

When we play it between two and three, we’ll take caller #12 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Roll Over Beethoven – From Rock To Bach performed by the Pacific Symphony this Sunday at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.
