Alec Baldwin may be done with 30 Rock, but he’s not done with TV just yet. It appears Baldwin will join MSNBC to host his own weekly show in primetime.

The untitled show is slated to air Friday nights at 10, which is currently being held by a prison docu-series show, Lock Up.

Back in May 2012, Baldwin appeared on Lawrence O’Donnell’s The Last Word and read the host’s segment teasers, which caught the eye of MSNBC’s big-wigs. Baldwin’s new gig makes sense since MSNBC is own by the NBC network, which he has a long history with.

MSNBC execs say that Baldwin will bring a colorful history to the network. What do you think…would you watch Baldwin host a show on MSNBC?
