Listen between two and three for “Hollywood Nights” by Bob Seger, he’s our ‘Tickets @ 2’ artist of the day.

Seger said: “The chorus to the song came into my head one night in 1977 as I was driving through the Hollywood Hills. Our drummer, David Teegarden, played an entire set of drums as we recorded and over dubbed another entire set of drums playing a different pattern. In other words, there’s two sets of everything, snare, kick-drum, and hi-hat.” Which explains the high energy sound of one of 1978s best.

When you hear it, we’ll take caller # 10 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a pair of tickets to see Pixar In Concert this Saturday at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. It’s Pixar’s most beloved characters, Toy Story, Cars, Finding Nemo, and more put to music by the Pacific Symphony.
