Major news of comedy fans, the surviving members of the British comedy troupe Monty Python are reuniting for a stage show, reports USA Today. Members Terry Jones, John Cleese, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and Terry Gilliam will be back together again to bring more hilarious antics to the stage.

Jones confirmed the news in an interview with the BBC saying, “We’re getting together and putting on a show — it’s real. I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!”

Eric Idle also backed the news up, revealing additional details on a planned “Python Press Conference” to announce further information on the show this Thursday in London.

First seeing major success from their sketch-comedy TV show Monty Python’s Flying Circus that ran from 1969-1974, the group reached international stardom with movies like Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life Of Brian, and backing of the popular stage show Spamalot.
