U2‘s award cabinet is full of trophies: they’ve won several GRAMMYs, MTV Video Music Awards, and they’re inductees in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. One prize they’ve yet to take home, though, is an Oscar. This year, they’ll get another shot at an Academy Award: “Ordinary Love,” from the Nelson Mandela biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, which recently took home the Golden Globe, is nominated for an Oscar. It’s up against songs from Frozen, HerDespicable Me 2 and Alone But Not Alone

Also nominated for an Oscar is 20 Feet From Stardom, the documentary about backing singers that features Merry Clayton (who sang on the Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter” and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama”), the Stones’ backing singer Lisa Fischer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Darlene Love.

The 86th Academy Awards air March 2 on ABC.
