Who said disco was dead? Get ready to put on your disco shoes and dance your heart out because Chic featuring Nile Rodgers and disco music trailblazer Giorgio Moroder are heading to the Hollywood Bowl this May for a one of a kind discotheque-style concert!

Andrew Hewitt/Bill Silva/HARD Events have partnered for an “incredible night of disco, funk and future music” at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, May 10th with rising talents DJ Desctructo, DJ duo Oliver and German producer Tensnake opening the show.

Rodgers, who recently won three GRAMMY awards for his collaboration on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories, is regarded as one of the most influential producers in music. He’s produced monster hits like “Le Freak (Aw Freak Out!),” “Good Times,” “He’s the Greatest Dancer,” “We Are Family,” “I’m Coming Out,” “Upside Down,’ “Like A Virgin” and many more feel-good dance hits.

Moroder, 73-year-old Italian producer, songwriter and DJ, is best known for his work with the Queen of Disco Donna Summer and is behind her rise to fame throughout the 1970s. He’s collaborated on some of her biggest hits including “Love To Love You Baby,” “Hot Stuff” and “I Feel Love.” In 1997, Moroder and Summer won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for the song “Carry On.” He’s collaborated with dozens more artists including Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Cher, Janet Jackson and David Bowie.

This show reunites Rodgers and Moroder since their collaboration on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories, which took home album of the year at the 2014 GRAMMYs.

Tickets go on-sale this Friday, February 21 at 10:00 am PT at, as well as at all Ticketmaster ticket centers, the Hollywood Bowl box office (February 21 only), or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
