Today's Tickets @ 2 Song: "Hotel California" by Eagles

Many fans were shocked and saddened when news broke that Devo guitarist Bob Casale suddenly passed away from heart failure in February.

Now in the wake of his death, the band has set up a fund seeking donations on the crowdsourcing site Go Fund Me to help with some of the expenses for Casale’s family, reports Rolling Stone. Casale died without a will or insurance, leaving his family with financial hardships after his untimely death.

The donation page, managed by DEVO’s assistant & web site manager Michael Pilmer, notes that “These expenses are not limited to funeral expenses, but also include recent medical/hospital bills, and for the general family expenses in the absence of Bob. This has hit the Casales hard. We are doing everything we can as friends of the family to soften the impact of Bob’s untimely death.”

Their goal is to raise $100,000 to help the Casale family with these expenses. So far, the fund has received over $17,000 in donations from generous fans and friends of the founding Devo guitarist. To help donate to the cause, you can visit the page on
