We’re just three days away from K-EARTH 101’s Bugstock 2014!

To help get everyone excited for the event this Saturday at OC Market Place, this morning Beau Boeckmann, president of Galpin Volkswagen, called in to The K-EARTH 101 Morning Show to talk about teaming up to put on this event once again this year. Galpin Volkswagen is the latest addition to the Galpin Motors fleet in SoCal, and just a year and a half since opening, he tells us business is booming.

Galpin will be bringing down their big vehicle called “The Rig” – their mobile gas vehicle, which Beau describes as having a “studio inside, even a kitchen, a little bar” where they can have their friends come hang out at events.

“It’s kind of our rolling representation of Galpin,” he told Gary and Lisa.

In addition to bringing down their vehicles to Bugstock, Galpin VW will be gathering a whole fleet of VWs for a fan-caravan down to the event, led by our own Jim Carson!

“We have the Bugstock gathering here at Galpin, so come on down and join us a 7am. We’ll be having a continental breakfast and kind of gathering the troops,” he said. “Jim Carson’s leading the way and we’ll be leaving at 8am sharp heading down to the show.”

“We want to have a mile of Volkswagens going down the freeway,” he laughed.

So join Jim Carson and Galpin VW and cruise on down to Bugstock with a whole fleet of VWs! We’ll be meeting at Galpin VW (15421 Roscoe Boulevard, North Hills, CA 91343) at 7am, fuel up on complementary coffee and pastries and cruise out at 8am!

Plus, the first 50 registered participants will receive VIP parking upon arrival at the OC Market Place. Please, RSVP for the caravan on Galpin VW’s website. (Note: The caravan is not recommended for those participating in the Bugstock Car Show, as the check-in times overlap.)
