Hard to believe that it was 30 years ago when a group of twenty-something rockers from New Jersey first broke out on the charts. Now all grown up and still as popular as ever (they were just named the top touring act from Billboard), Bon Jovi is celebrating its 30th anniversary in rock and roll with a extensive reissue campaign this year.

Rolling Stone reports that Bon Jovi will kick off its 30th anniversary on July 1st with a remastered release of the band’s No.1 1988 album New Jersey. TheĀ  album, which earned the band five hit singles including “Living In Sin,” “Bad Medicine” and “I’ll Be There For You,” will be released in three new versions; a single disc reissue, a two disc deluxe edition, and two CD, or a two CD/one DVD super deluxe edition, which will contain bonus material.

The two disc deluxe version will feature three bonus tracks that were originally released as B-sides, plus 13 unreleased demo tracks during the recording of New Jersey. It also comes with a 32-page booklet with liner notes about the unreleased tracks and rare photos of the recording sessions.

Not enough Bon Jovi for you? Then maybe the super-deluxe release is what you need. That will include a 60-page booklet and rock documentary Access All Areas: A Rock & Roll Odyssey, directed by Wayne Isham, who documented the band’s 16 month New Jersey world tour.

As if that is enough to whet your appetite for Bon Jovi, the band promises more releases, including new studio and live recordings, throughout the year.
